For Grandma

I have not truly cried in a very long time … until tonight.

My grandmother died on Sept. 22 almost nine years ago. On the night before she passed, she wanted to spend some time with me, but I didn’t realize it until it was too late. I sat by her side during her final moments; she saw me in uncontrollable tears and placed her cool hand on my cheek as if to say, “It’s okay.” I’ll never forget that feeling, the biggest regret of my life. But, it’s not too late for you — LOVE WHILE YOU STILL CAN.

Such a beautiful song! Thanks so much for sharing your story. It makes me want to call all of my friends and family and tell them how much I love them. You never know how much time you have!
